MS exists as a system to connect those who need solidary aid with those who can give it — directly, responsibility, and without intermediaries. But MS is not an open system for individual applications via the website. Solidary aid is organised through the network of delegates and partnered institutions and crisis centres — they direct the aid and make sure it arrives where it is most needed. If you need solidary aid, the first step isn’t registration on the website, but getting in contact with your delegate or partnered institution.

MS covers two areas of solidarity aid, depending on what kind of situation a person is in.

MS For Education

MS For Education is for people from the education sector who have lost parts of or their entire salaries due to their professional or social engagement, or who have suffered other consequences due to participating in strikes or in other forms of collective action.


WHO THIS TYPE OF AID IS MEANT FOR:

Solidary aid within MS For Education is directed at, among others:

  1. teachers
  2. professors
  3. assistant teaching and research roles
  4. non-educator staff within the education sector
  5. Individuals from the school and other educational collectives who are affected by lowered or unpaid salaries and other due to their engagement

MS Against Repression

This area is meant for individuals who are fined, experience pressures, intimidations, violence, or other consequences due to their social engagement, their commitment to justice, freedom, and the public interest.


WHO THIS TYPE OF AID IS MEANT FOR:

Solidary aid within MS Against Repression is directed at, among others:

  1. citizens experiencing repression
  2. students
  3. activists
  4. individuals who are fined or are experiencing pressures
  5. individuals who require urgent legal, logistic, or financial aid due to repression

Solidary aid is not granted via an individual application on the website, but through partnered organisations, crisis centres and a network of trust who confirm information and direct the aid. MS Against Repression works through collaborations with trusted partners who verify on a case-by-case basis and support that the solidary aid arrives quickly and safely.
